Meis Electric, L.L.C. was founded in 1997 by Jim & Kristi Meis. Jim felt the need for quality, dependable and affordable electrical service in Southwest Kansas as well as Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Nebraska. They have electricians from Minneola, Dodge City, Bucklin, Garden City, and Cimarron, KS. These electricians are are knowledgeable in all areas of the electrical business, whether it be Industrial, Commercial, Residential or Agricultural.

Meis Electric has 10 fully equipped service trucks with licensed electricians who are schooled in electrical code, wiring, motor control, data, transformers, and many other areas of the electrical field. They have a trained staff of electricians, technicians, and job foreman apprentices who are on call 24 hours a day to best suit their customers needs.

Meis Electric also has a full line of equipment to complete any job. These items include a boom truck, a trencher (or backhoe), line locating equipment, scissor lifts, and lap top computers to assist in automation and job productivity. They also offer free estimates and full disclosure of all costs before beginning the job. This way, there is no doubt the customer will be getting the best quality and professional service.

Jim and Kristi Meis are owners of Meis Electric, L.L.C. Jim is a Licensed Master Electrician with over 15 years of experience in the electrical industry. Kristi has a Bachelor of Science degree from Fort Hays State University and over 14 years experience in banking and business management. Together they manage and operate all aspects of Meis Electric.

John Osborn has been with Meis Electric since 1999. He is a Licensed Journeyman Electrician, knowledgeable in all areas of the electrical field. He manages the day to day scheduling of the electricians as well as project managing, job estimating, and automation. John has 8 years experience in electrical contracting.

Larry Neuschafer has 9 years experience in the electrical field including 4 years estimating and 2 years managing projects. He specializes in commercial designs and design-build. He has attended the National Electric Code Seminar and apprentice school for 2.5 years.. He is also experienced in CAD drawing design.
